Shelter Is Crucial to Survival

Our vision at Benefit Mankind is to help provide families with shelter homes that currently either live in mud huts or tents, with our experience a new shelter home can help rebuild lives globally.

A new shelter home can protect families from the sun, insects, wind, rain, snow, hot or cold temperatures and enemy observation. It can give you a feeling of well-being. It can help you maintain your will to survive.

Shelters provide secure accommodation for women and girls who are at risk of or have been subjected to violence, although they contribute far more than just a safe place to stay. New shelter homes provide essential aspects of protection, services and resources which enable women who have experienced abuse and their children to recover from the violence, to rebuild self-esteem, and to take steps to regain a self-determined and independent life.
