The recent years have been marked by adversity, trials, and global uncertainty, stemming from the challenges posed by natural disasters, man-made wars, the pandemic and the escalating cost of living crisis affecting the entire world. We find ourselves navigating unprecedented situations that impact us on both personal and professional fronts.
The inception of Benefit Mankind was guided by a singular vision, to contribute to the welfare of humanity and effect enduring change. Over the past four years, we have actively engaged in various initiatives, including empowerment, education, emergency aid, water sanitation, support for the cost of living, assistance for orphans and widows, local homelessness projects, addressing domestic violence, and aiding struggling families across the UK. This has been made possible through the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
Simultaneously, our efforts have extended globally, reaching over 15 countries with crucial emergency aid when it was most needed. The imperative now is for Benefit Mankind to sustain its efforts to meet the escalating global needs. Our global crisis team works tirelessly, ensuring the safety of our beneficiaries while protecting our team members. Responding to disasters worldwide within 24 hours has become a hallmark of our commitment, evident in recent support provided during the floods in Libya, earthquake in Morocco and Turkey to name a few, thanks to your generous contributions.
Over the past four years, we have successfully delivered aid exceeding £11m globally, signifying the growth and impact of our organisation. Our focus remains on fostering self-sustainable projects, offering medical solutions, and promoting education. The numerous awards we have received and our selection as the official charity partner for Blackburn Rovers Football Club for the past three seasons are testaments to the commendable service we provide locally and abroad.
