This year, we celebrate 5 years since the inception of Benefit Mankind. We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to each of you for joining us on this journey and playing a crucial role in helping us save lives globally. Your unwavering support and commitment have been instrumental in transforming countless lives and communities. The past few years have been characterised by immense challenges, natural disasters, conflicts, the pandemic and a rising cost of living crisis that has touched lives worldwide. These unprecedented times have tested us on both personal and professional levels.
Benefit Mankind was established with a clear vision: to serve humanity and bring lasting change. Over the last 5 years, we have been actively involved in initiatives such as empowerment, education, emergency aid, water sanitation, cost-of-living support, assistance for orphans and widows, tackling homelessness, addressing domestic violence, saving our planet by planting trees and helping struggling families across the UK. These efforts have been made possible through the tireless dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our donors.
Globally, we have extended our reach to over 19 countries, providing vital emergency aid in critical moments. Our global crisis team works diligently to ensure the safety of beneficiaries and team members alike, delivering aid within 24 hours during disasters.
In the last 5 years, we have delivered over £15 million in aid worldwide, reflecting the growth and impact of our organisation. We continue to prioritise sustainable development, medical solutions and education. Our work has been recognised with numerous awards, including being named the official charity partner of Blackburn Rovers Football Club for 4 consecutive seasons, underscoring the value of our local and international efforts.
As we continue our mission, we encourage everyone to extend kindness and compassion to those around them. Looking out for our neighbours, whether they are next door or part of our broader global community, is a cornerstone of creating a just and caring society. Together, we can build stronger, more supportive communities that uplift those in need.
