In Memory Of My Beloved Marhoom Nana.

1 year ago on this day (8th March 2020), my beloved Nana returned to His beloved Creator. Words fall short to describe what a beautiful gem they were. Always loved & forever missed.

As my heart desires to do something in Sadaqah Jaariyah today in memory of my beloved Nana, I am raising for a water well at the cost of £500, which will be built in a rural area in Sri Lanka InshaAllah.

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه narrates that our beloved Nabi ﷺ said, “When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who prays for him.” (Sahih Muslim)

In another narration, Our beloved Nabi ﷺ was asked, “Which charity is best?” He ﷺ replied, “Providing water.” (Abu Dawud)

Please recite x3 Surah Ikhlaas for my beloved Nana.
May Allah SWT grant my beloved Nana & all our Marhooms the highest rank in Jannat ul Firdaws & accept everyone’s donation – Aameen.

Water Crisis

When a community or a village gets clean water for the first time, it’s the start of something truly life-changing. Right now, some of the world’s poorest and most marginalised people don’t have clean water to drink, decent toilets or hygiene. Without these basics, overcoming poverty is just a dream but when you help us to dig a well or install a tap stand in a community, you’re changing the lives of thousands of families. 785 million people in the world – one in ten – do not have clean water close to home. We will keep working until everyone, everywhere has clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene. But we cannot do it without your support.
